This course will include a briefing by the FBI on the “Threats & Risks Associated with the Normalization of Cryptocurrency.” What are cryptocurrencies, how are they used, what are they based on, and are they a threat to national security? This course will introduce the audience to cryptocurrency, its pros and cons, its uses, and will discuss the nefarious utilization by organized threat groups. We will explore the basics of tracking cryptocurrencies on the web to potential threat actors or a person.
