InfraGard is a national program with a local heartbeat.
There are currently 74 chapters nationwide, representing over 30,000 members. Known as an InfraGard Members Alliance (IMA), each chapter is affiliated with the FBI Field Office in its area of operation to create seamless public/private collaboration.
InfraGard chapters operate as independent nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations governed by a president and board of directors. Additionally, a FBI special agent from each Field Office is assigned to serve as a Private Sector Coordinator. This approach enables each chapter to produce educational programs and information-sharing initiatives that truly adapt to the unique threat environments, critical infrastructure landscapes, and security needs of their specific regions.
