Often, after a breach, many individuals at an organization experience post-traumatic stress in different forms. I have found that many of these stories and situations go unnoticed and must be addressed. I’m not a clinical psychologist, but I’d like to dive into my personal experience of dealing with breaches at many companies and my conversations with victims. I aim to bring awareness and stimulate discussion about how companies can be more prepared to deal with this mind-numbing effect.
