GETS / WPS Program – Emergency Communications

Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) is a government telecommunications program that provides subscribers with priority access on landline telephone networks during an emergency, while Wireless Priority Service (WPS) provides priority access over cellular networks.

Due to overwhelming interest in this program by InfraGard members, application processing is taking a little while longer than expected. Requests are processed in the order they are received and we look forward to taking care of your application soon. Thank you for your patience while we work to provide you with this InfraGard member benefit!

Priority in communications is crucial to continuity of operations when facing adverse conditions such as weather events, mass gatherings, cyber-attacks, or events arising from human error.

InfraGard National Members Alliance and the InfraGard Program Office are pleased to make two Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) priority telecommunications services available to InfraGard members.

GETS: GETS is offered at no cost to all InfraGard members. There is no charge to subscribers to enroll in or use GETS. Subscribers are issued a PIN that assigns priority status to calls in service provider networks when used, along with a GETS card and usage guide for easy reference.
WIRELESS PRIORITY SERVICE (WPS): WPS is offered at no cost to all InfraGard members. There is no charge to WPS subscribers for enrollment or use. WPS provides authorized devices with priority calling on all nationwide and several regional cellular networks.

Thank you for your interest in our GETS Program. Before you fill out the form below, please familiarize yourself with the following notes:

Please provide your wireless carrier and the full billing account number exactly as shown on your most recent invoice. The service must be post-paid (you receive a monthly bill). Allow space for up to 20 characters in the form field to accommodate all carrier account formats.
If enrolling a work phone under a company or agency plan, confirm with the person who manages the invoices so they can approve any required changes when CISA provisions WPS.
You may enroll more than one phone (e.g., work and personal) as long as each line is with one of the approved carriers—they don’t need to be with the same one.
**The estimated processing time for GETS/WPS applications is six weeks. Due to the current overwhelming interest in the program, processing times may be longer than expected.**
